One More Podcast is an interview show filmed at our podcast studio in North Austin. One guest, eight tasters on the table, climbing in flavor from light and crisp to dark and heavy. Every beer opens something new — a question, a game, a story nobody has thought to ask you for.
It is an interview, but the beer keeps it loose, which is the entire reason the beer is there. Small tasting pours, taken slowly across the conversation.
The studio is finished and the show is built. What we're doing right now is choosing the people who make up season one, and we want you to be one of them.
A ride drops you at the door, then we sit down and talk for a while before anything rolls. When you're comfortable, we start. The eight glasses are already on the table and numbered and the cameras are already set, so there is nothing to wait around for and nothing for you to sort out.
The order is the spine of the whole thing. It starts easy and it finishes heavy, and the conversation moves with it.
Good beer is just the excuse. The conversation is the show.
You bring yourself and your stories. We handle the rest of it, including getting you here and getting you home.
Dougie has spent eight years running content operations for nationally recognized brands — production and distribution both, which is a rarer pairing than it sounds. He ran video operations for one of the biggest medical podcasts in the world: one guest, one conversation, no cutaways, the same shape as this show. He has built content engines from scratch and grown several channels past a million followers, with 100M+ views driven along the way.
Every one of those shows belonged to somebody else. This one doesn't. One More is the show he actually wanted to make — good beer, people worth listening to, and the kind of conversation that only happens once everybody relaxes. It is a passion project, it is a genuinely good time, and we would like you in it.
